I am so excited to announce that the best Zumba dancer Walter “Wally” Diaz is coming to the Twin Cities, Minnesota the last weekend of September to give two Masterclasses that anyone can attend. All are welcome! One of the events is free of charge to remove any barriers for participation or for trying a Zumba class for the first time.
Walter Diaz is a professional dancer, actor, and model. A Colombia native, he has been working with Zumba since it was created in 2001. He has been traveling with the company for ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network) Academies and he is an international presenter who has given Master Classes around the world. Walter has participated in dance flash videos for Zumba’s social media and fitness concerts and more. His sessions at the Orlando ZIN convention include Salsa & Merengue Mash-up and Colombian Roots. Walter has been in the fitness industry for 36 years.

Zumba® classes create a party-like atmosphere that is great for the mind, body, and soul. Zumba® is a dance fitness program based on Latin and international music and dance movements. Rhythms include Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Bachata and more.
Anyone can join the party! Previous dance experience is not necessary.
If you’ve never tried Zumba®, then a Master Class is a perfect way to experience the vibe. It’s typically longer than a regular class and can be way more hyped!

Participants should wear comfortable, activewear clothing that is not restrictive and allows cooling for appropriate thermoregulation of the body. Cross training or aerobic style shoes that provide cushion and medial-lateral support for side-to-side movements work well. Such shoes also have low traction rubber for easy sliding and turning and should be clean and dry with a non-marking rubber sole (in case we are inside due to rain). Please be careful with running shoes because they usually have a heavy tread on the bottom and are designed for forward movement.
Bring water to drink and stay hydrated.
Why take a Zumba® class? To improve cardiorespiratory (aerobic) capacity, strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance.
