Olive Oil and Shea Butter soap handmade by Dr. Marie is creamy and less drying with minimal ingredients. Olive oil has been used as a skin product for a long time in several cultures. Topical application can be anti-inflammatory and reduce skin cancer. Shea butter has natural vitamins and fatty acids that make it creamy, nourishing, protective and moisturizing for skin. It can be anti-inflammatory and can help to soothe, soften, strengthen and repair skin and aid in skin’s natural collagen production and wrinkle reduction.

Ingredients: Saponified oils of Olive and Shea butter.

About 3.5 to 4 ounces per bar.

Marie has been developing this soap making process for more than 8 years and started selling handmade soaps in the summer of 2021. She has sensitive skin due to a skin condition. Not being able to find any suitable products for herself, she realized the need for truly natural and chemical-free soap and created her own. She is a Chemist (B.A. in Chemistry, minor in Math) and a Biologist (Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology).
